My motivation for building this site and blogging here comes from Matthew 5:13-16

Salt and Light 13 ; You are like salt for everyone on earth. But if salt no longer tastes like salt, how can it make food salty? All it is good for is to be thrown out and walked on. 14 . You are like light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden, 15 ; . and no one would light a lamp and put it under a clay pot. A lamp is placed on a lampstand, where it can give light to everyone in the house. 16 . Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven.
My question to myself has been lately, “Have I lost my flavor?”
This website and blog is dedicated to becoming full of flavor, for God, for my family, for my job, for my neighbors. I am a Chili Pepper is a motto I have adopted because of this question, because of this passion.
A Chili Pepper is full of flavor. If you have never tried one raw, I do not recommend it. But add a Chili Pepper to food, and your normal boring meal become bold, spicy and full of flavor.
That is my goal. That each action I take will add to the “flavor” of what God has created and given to me:
- Salvation
- My Wife
- My Church
My prayer is that this website and blog will become and encouragement for many, entertainment for some and educational for a few.
